NO HOLIDAY BREAK

People who are in the news, like me, have no holiday breaks.
Fire still happen...passengers still get stranded...people still want to know the latest price updates even on Christmas Day.

News Desk for the Day
Task -- Do the unfortunate duty of deploying people on coverages on the day
they should be enjoying their breaks...

To cope...we started our Christmas celebration early with a boodle fight!

Ready...

Get set...

GO!

Menu: Grilled Eggplant and fish with bagoong, rice soaked in sardines

Since I was the one who deployed the teams...
I only ate after they arrived.

I'm not sure in other countries but here in the Philippines, we don't use utensils in boodle fights.

But while the Holidays may be bitter reminders that we are among the few in the country who do not enjoy breaks...
The season is still a period to look forward to.
It's the time of the year when even friends from far off places travel distances just to be with you during the holidays.

Get together with the balikbayans, Anna and Alex (Left most)

Don't you just love Christmas?! :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY !!!

Pin It Now!

  1. That looks like fun! I appreciate all the people who will be working on Cristmas to keep the world going--to bring us the news, put out fires, and the people who work at restaurants so others can enjoy a nice holiday meal. Thank you!
